Surfers from all over the world head to Playa Hermosa for the massive rides that can reach up to 13 feet. It provides a great spot for experienced and professional surfers to ride some challenging waves.  For those not ready to hang ten on the bigger waves, surf lessons can be taken on more mellow waves of Jaco beach. .
